Private SystemCape Town · Full Stack Web & App Development
I build websites and web apps that actually work — not templates, not cookie-cutter, not built-in-a-weekend. If you're a South African business that's ready for something real, let's talk.
About
I'm Annie — a full stack developer based in Cape Town and the founder of Lobo Noir. I started this studio because I kept seeing businesses handed websites that looked fine in a presentation and fell apart in real life. I wanted to do it differently.
My background isn't the usual dev story. I come from compliance and finance — which means I think in systems, edge cases, and what happens when things go wrong. That's actually a useful thing to have in a developer. I notice what other people miss.
I've built corporate websites, recruitment platforms, and student portals with PayFast integration. I'm currently working on a health app that speaks to wearables. I work front-end and back-end, and I'm most at home when the project is a little complicated.
When I'm not coding, I write poetry. Same rule applies: every line has to earn its place.
Services
Mobile-responsive websites that load fast, look sharp, and rank on Google. Built from scratch — not a theme with your logo dropped in. From a simple portfolio to a full business presence, it'll actually reflect who you are.
Got a problem that needs a custom web application to solve it? Student portals, booking systems, internal dashboards, client-facing tools — I build them full stack, front to back, and I don't cut corners on the back end.
I've done PayFast integration hands-on — once-off payments, subscriptions, checkout flows. I also connect apps to health APIs, wearable data, CRMs, and third-party services. If it has an API, we can talk to it.
South African e-commerce development built for how people actually shop here — local payment gateways, clean UX, secure checkout. Not a template. A real store that works.
SEO isn't something I bolt on at the end — it's built into every site from line one. Clean semantic HTML, fast load times, structured data, geo-targeting for South Africa, proper metadata. The kind of thing that quietly gets you found.
I don't hand over a site and disappear. Ongoing maintenance, updates, and support mean your site stays current, stays secure, and keeps doing its job — long after the launch day excitement wears off.
Work
A custom recruitment CRM system — private candidate management dashboard with pipeline tracking, qualification reporting, and area analytics. Built for internal team use, separate from the public website.
Private SystemA recruitment agency website that had to speak to two very different audiences at once — candidates and clients. Got it to do both, without feeling like it was trying too hard.

View Live SiteA full online learning platform with PayFast integration, course management, and student dashboards — built for a South African online teaching provider. This one has a lot of moving parts. I'm enjoying it.
Coming SoonA web app that syncs with wearable devices to surface health data in a way that's actually useful — not just numbers on a screen. Real-time API integration, clean data visualisation. Work in progress.
Coming SoonFAQ
Yes — and honestly, small businesses are my favourite clients. You get me directly, not an account manager passing messages. No agency markup, no getting lost in a queue. Just the work, done properly.
I've done it. Once-off payments, subscription billing, full checkout flows — I know where the tricky parts are and I test properly before anything goes live. No nasty surprises on your side.
A solid business website is usually 2–4 weeks from briefing to launch. A custom web app depends on what it needs to do — but you'll get an honest timeline from the start, not one designed to win the brief and then keep slipping.
Yes. Maintenance packages cover updates, security, and ongoing changes. I'd rather keep a site healthy long-term than hand it over and hope for the best. That's not really my style.
Cape Town, yes. I work with clients locally, across South Africa, and remotely with international clients. The work doesn't care where you are. Neither do I.
You work with me, from brief to launch. I have a compliance and systems background which means I think about edge cases, logic, and maintainability — not just how it looks in the mockup. I care about whether it works, not just whether it ships.

You don't need a fully formed brief to reach out. An idea, a problem, a vague sense that your current website isn't doing you justice — any of that is a fine place to start. Based in Cape Town, working with clients across South Africa and beyond.
